Welcome to Oncology Care Consultants (OCC) of the Frederick Memorial Hospital Regional Cancer Therapy Center. The practice was founded by Dr. Rausch in 1979 and became part of Frederick Memorial Hospital in 1998. The physicians in our practice are all certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Our physicians are specialists in the treatment and care of blood disorders and cancer patients. As consultants, we will work closely with your primary care physician to provide comprehensive and compassionate medical care. But you are our most important partner. We will work together to ensure that you receive state-of-the art cancer and blood care.
Emergency Care
If you are having an emergency, please call 911. If you have an urgent problem, we have a physician on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can reach the physician by calling the office number, (301) 662-8477. After regular office hours, the physician on call will return your call as soon as possible.
Telephone Calls
If you are having an emergency, please call 911. Please call the office if you have any questions regarding your medical condition, medications, and/or treatment. Most of the time a nurse will return your call and can answer most questions that you may have. Telephone calls, which are not emergencies, will be returned between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. and after 4 p.m.
